Tough Talks Parent Seminar Series

If you parent, mentor, teach, or case manage youth and teens - this series has something for you! Join PCYC, Pulaski County and other amazing area organizations to gain knowledge and conversational skills for those "tough talks". 

October 21 5:15 - 8:00pm  Stewards of Children with NRV CARES
Stewards of Children® is an evidence-informed training that teaches adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. Stewards of Children® teaches adults practical actions they can take to reduce instances of child sexual abuse in their organizations, families, and communities.

October 28 5:30 - 7:30pm Hidden in Plain Sight with Radford City Police Department
Explore a mock bedroom to learn how to identify signs of substance use. 

November 4 5:30 - 7:30pm Healthy Relationships with Women's Resource Center
This workshop will explore how as parents it can be difficult to talk with our youth about interpersonal relationships, why it is so important to do so, and share some tips about how to do this effectively.
